Tim McGraw at the Bell Co. Expo Center 11-12-98
-- Belton, TX
Opening for Tim was The Sons of The Desert group. The opening show was good. This lasted for about an hour. The Sons of the Desert sang their hits from last summer such as "Whatever Comes First." They also introduced us to some of their new material from an upcoming album. I enjoyed them. They are different, but good.
Tim McGraw almost performed for 2 hours. His show was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of his fast paced show. He had some nice lighting effects as well. He opened the show with "Indian Outlaw" and sang the rest of his hits as well as a few new songs. Notable songs include "Don't Take the Girl" "Down On The Farm" and a special solo version of "It's Your Love." Tim is very energetic on stage. He is always moving during the show so that everyone can get a good view of him. I was pretty close to the stage where I was. He did and encore after the main show and finished the show with "I Like it, I Love It." On my scale of 1-10. I give Tim a 9.5 rating. Excellent show. Ranks right up with Shania Twain and Pam Tillis whom I have recently seen in concert
I would definitely go and see Tim McGraw again. Someday I also hope to see his wonderful wife, Faith Hill. ---

Tim McGraw come out just before George Strait this day. He came out with his usual flair and style. He did a pretty long show too. He did such hits as "Down On The Farm", "I Like It, I Love it" , "Something Like That", "Everywhere", "Some things Never Change", "Don't Take The Girl", "Indian Outlaw","Where The Green Grass Grows" and many more. (pardon my lack of memory, LOL) Overall, I give it another high rating. Oh yeah, one thing I should add. Kenny Chesney did come out toward the end as a surprise to us. I thought that was good spirited of him. *
