Mindy McCready

Mindy McCready became famous with her hit "Ten Thousand Angels." Her full name is Malinda Gayle McCready. She is from southern Florida. She grew up listening to country music and also likes sports. She started in small venues, like many beginners. She sang songs by Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Anne Murray, Crystal Gayle and the like. To her, these popular singers had a good ability to choose the right songs.

When she started high school, she took extra classes so she could have a head start on her music career. She graduated early, at 16 with honors. 2 years later, she moved on to Nashville. She was very determined to make her mark in the world. So, 51 weeks later, she landed a record deal. Mindy is unique in being a traditional country singer and still very modern as well. She has a great vocal range and an angeletic voice that gets noticed. This fan wishes her only the best in the future.
