Sara Evans, Sammy Kershaw and Clay Walker Live

This is my review of a recent event that I was at. Sara Evans was the 1st to perform. She is expecting a child in August. She did an excellent set of songs. She sang "Three Chords and the Truth" and many other songs as well as her hit single "No Place That Far." She is a great opening act.

Next on the agenda was Sammy Kershaw. He did an excellent set of songs. He sang his hits as well as a few new songs. He sang "3rd Rate Romance" , "Haunted Heart", "Anywhere But Here", "Queen of my Double wide Trailer" and "Love of My Life" to name a few. He really seemed to be enjoying himself up on stage. There was quite a bit of audience participation as well. I really enjoyed his segment of the show.

Clay Walker came out during the final phase of the program. He made a very impressive entrance and then proceeded to sing his hits and a few new songs. Some of the selections for this show were "Dreamin' With My Eyes Wide Open" , "Then What" ( with a big 'palm trees' and a beach ball in the crowd as well as a group dancing on stage with clay ) "Hypnotize the Moon" , "Rumor Has It" , "Who Needs You Baby" ,"She's always Right" and many others. He even took off his hat so show that he has hair. At the end, he dedicated "Wing Beneath My Wings" to his mom. That was a touching moment.

Overall, I'd give this entire event a 10. I'll see Clay next year when he returns to Waco.
